Disclaimers

The following disclaimers outline important policies and limitations regarding flight training at Vertical Vision Flight Academy. By enrolling in training, students acknowledge and accept the conditions described below.
No Guarantee of Certification

Aviation training outcomes depend on a variety of factors, including individual aptitude, attendance, study habits, FAA medical eligibility, FAA examiner availability, weather conditions, and regulatory requirements.

Vertical Vision Flight Academy does not guarantee completion within any specific timeframe, number of hours, or total training cost, nor does it guarantee successful completion of any FAA knowledge test or practical (checkride) examination.

All flight training is proficiency-based, and additional training may be required beyond FAA minimum hour requirements to ensure students meet required safety and certification standards.

FAA Eligibility & Medical Certification

Students are solely responsible for maintaining FAA eligibility throughout their training, including obtaining and maintaining any required FAA medical certificate.

Loss, suspension, denial, or deferral of FAA medical eligibility or certification does not relieve the student of financial obligations for training services already provided or expenses incurred prior to such determination.

Students are strongly encouraged to obtain an FAA medical certificate prior to beginning flight training to ensure eligibility.

Scheduling, Weather & Maintenance

Flight training is subject to delays, rescheduling, or interruptions due to factors beyond the control of Vertical Vision Flight Academy, including but not limited to:

  • Weather conditions

  • Aircraft maintenance

  • Instructor availability

  • FAA examiner scheduling

  • Airspace restrictions

  • Operational or safety considerations

Such delays do not constitute grounds for refunds, fee reductions, or contract cancellation.

Aircraft & Instructor Assignment

Vertical Vision Flight Academy reserves the right to assign or substitute aircraft, simulators, and instructors as operational needs require.

Any substitutions will meet all applicable FAA regulations and training requirements to ensure students receive appropriate instruction.

Rate Adjustments

Vertical Vision Flight Academy reserves the right to adjust hourly rates and program pricing in response to changes in operational costs, including but not limited to:

  • Fuel costs

  • Insurance premiums

  • Regulatory requirements

  • Aircraft operating expenses

  • Maintenance costs

Any rate adjustments will apply prospectively only and will not affect training services already completed.

FAA Actions & Student Violations

Any FAA enforcement action, investigation, deviation, or regulatory violation resulting from a student’s conduct, decision-making, or noncompliance with aviation regulations shall be the sole responsibility of the student.

The student will be responsible for any associated costs, delays, additional training requirements, or administrative actions that may arise from such events.

Student Conduct & Safety

Vertical Vision Flight Academy maintains strict safety and professionalism standards.

The academy reserves the right to suspend or terminate training for any student whose conduct, performance, or behavior is determined to be:

  • Unsafe

  • Disruptive

  • Non-compliant with FAA regulations

  • In violation of the academy policies

  • Contrary to aviation safety standards

Termination under this section will be treated as a student-initiated withdrawal for the purposes of financial obligations and refund policies.
