How to schedule your FAA medical
Step 1 - Complete MedXPress
Go to medxpress.faa.gov, create your account, and complete the FAA medical application before contacting the AME office.
Step 2 - Save your confirmation number
After submitting the application, keep your confirmation number because the AME will need it at your appointment.
Step 3 - Choose an AME
Select an office from the directory or verify current FAA-designated examiners through the FAA AME Locator.
Step 4 - Schedule directly with the office
Some offices offer online booking while others require a phone call. Use the scheduling links or call options below.
Step 5 - Bring what you need
Bring your photo ID, MedXPress confirmation number, and any medical records or medication details the AME office asks you to provide.
